Pastor Laurie Idahosa of My Church Unusual has warned men against public proposal which she says often ends in private disaster.
She also warned men against allowing a lady dictate to them on how they should propose to her.
She wrote: "Just in case you are planning a proposal.... you may want to read this advice.
"A marriage proposal is an intimate, private matter, not a video production made to post on your social media handles.
"Guys watch out for the lady who tells you how to propose. She won't let you rest your entire marriage.
"Public proposals oftentimes end in private disaster."
