Presidential Jet Seizure: When is EFCC calling Ibikunle Amosun for questioning? - Fayose asks

Political commentator Isaac Fayose has raised concerns about the delay by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in inviting former Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun to answer questions regarding the contract dispute between the state and Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment.

The contract dispute dates back to 2007 when the company's contract to develop a free-trade zone was terminated between 2015 and 2016.

According to the Financial Times, Zhongshan claimed it was forced out of the deal through a "campaign of illegal acts," which ultimately led to a French court ordering the seizure of three presidential jets owned by the Nigerian government.

As discussions continued on social media, Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti Governor Ayo Fayose, criticized most governors as "lazy."

He shared his thoughts in a video posted on his Instagram page, saying, "Too many lazy governors in Naija. All they do is wear agbada and baba Riga, signing off our commonwealth. When will @officialefcc call former governor of Ogun State Senator Ibikunle Amosun for questioning?"
