Voters in Niger State have said, politicians requested their PVCs before asking them to swear that they were going to vote for them before giving them buckets, bathing rubbers, spaghetti, clothes, and Maggi seasoning.
According to Daily Trust, politicians accompanied voters to their homes on Friday, March 17, a day before the polls to seek their votes.
They distributed spaghetti, clothes and other materials to electorates, especially in Minna, the Niger State Capital.
Some voters told Daily Trust that they asked to show their PVCs and swear after which each voter was given 2 yards of cloth and spaghetti with a choice of a bucket of bathing rubber.
