Reactions have trailed photos of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Chairman, Abike-Dabiri-Erewa and President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The photos were shared on her Twitter page on Thursday, April 27.
The NIDCOM Chairman has come under intense pressure following the crisis that has hit Sudan and the evacuation of Nigerians in that country.
She, however, confirmed in a chat with journalists that some Nigerians will be evacuated today from Egypt to Abuja.
“As I speak to you, we’re expecting about 1,500 Nigerians.
“And also, Air Peace will be leaving tonight (Thursday night) from Nigeria to pick them up from Egypt and bring them back safely to Nigeria by tomorrow (today),” she said.
She said over three million Nigerians were residing in Sudan and efforts were being made to evacuate as many as possible if the war persisted, adding that priority would be on children, students and women, reports Daily Trust.
In the photo was also HRM Emir Aminu Ado Bayero of Kano State and vice President-elect, Sen. Kashim Shettima Mustapha.
