Veteran actress, Iyabo Ojo has revealed she has no plans to go to the altar with music executive Paul Okoye, popularly known as Paulo.

She made this known in an interview during an appearance on TVC’s Your View as she prepares for the wedding of her daughter Priscilla and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.

According to her, the objective of their union isn't marriage, indicating that they are both in agreement with their current arrangement. Explaining the dynamics of their current relationship she said they both visit each other whenever they feel lonely.

She said, “Because of the way I work, I am such a workaholic, and he is also a workaholic. That Igbo man likes to work. For me, there are times when I want to be alone, and I just pack my bags and return to my house. We never fight over that because he understands.”

“We don’t want marriage,” she added.

Their relationship was made public by the actress in a social media post on her 45th birthday on December 21st, 2022.

Confirming rife rumors, she said a video collage of the times they had spent together.

A year after the announcement, in an interview, Paulo jokingly lamented how the mother of two had invaded his space and snatched him from his several side chics.
