The doctors at the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Akure, the state capital, on Friday staged a protest against the state government over the non-payment of their salaries for six months.


The doctors, who expressed sadness over the development, described the government action as wicked and callous, lamenting that they work in hunger and could not pay their bills.
