Nigerians have taken to social media to troll factional leader of the Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa after he arrived at the Election Petition Court in Abuja on Wednesday, May 17.

The incident started prior to the hearing in the morning, when Apapa and his team arrived at the court and confronted Peter Obi's Presidential Campaign Council director general, Akin Osuntokun over court seats.

A photo of Apapa and his team sitting outside the court surfaced and shortly after the court adjourned the hearing, supporters surrounded him and began chanting 'ole'.

He was immediately led away by policemen who grabbed his hands and pulled him away from the taunting crowd.

Lamid Apapa who was dressed in his cream agbada, was seen holding his cap at a point and later spotted without his hat during the incident.

As a result of this, some Nigerians have taken to social media to troll the factional leader.
