In the latest video circulating on social media, philanthropist Asherkine recently stormed the streets of Lagos during the Sallah festivities, which also coincided with Father’s Day, to gift some lucky individuals.

As he stepped out, he encountered some Muslims whom he blessed with rams to enable them to celebrate Sallah amidst the country's economic hardship.

Earlier reports on MyNigeria highlighted several Nigerians lamenting their inability to celebrate Sallah due to the high prices of foodstuffs in the markets. Others also complained about their lack of finances.

In a bid to put smiles on the faces of people during these festivities, Asherkine arrived at a mall and met two ladies shopping. He instructed them to pick whatever they needed and paid for their selections in full.

To conclude his day, the philanthropist came across an elderly man who was resting inside a public transport vehicle.

He invited the man to the mall and assisted him in selecting several items worth over N700,000. He further blessed the man with an additional N100,000, which he requested the man to pass on to another person, in the same spirit of generosity he had experienced.

The fortunate individuals who met Asherkine and received gifts showered him with praises and prayers.

The video, which is circulating on social media, has since elicited numerous reactions from Nigerians, who have commended him for his benevolence and encouraged him to continue supporting those in need.
