A Nigerian medical doctor has narrated how he left his medical practice to join the fight for Ukraine in the war against Russia.

In an interview, the Nigerian man explained that he initially travelled to Ukraine to study medicine and has been living in the country for seven years.

When the war began, many Nigerian students and citizens fled the country. However, he chose to enlist as a soldier for Ukraine on the first day they began recruiting.

His selfless dedication has shocked and impressed many, including Nigerians who have commended him for standing for his beliefs.
