Unoma, the wife of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has denied accusations that her husband sexually harassed Senator Natasha Akpoti from the Kogi Central.

The Senate President’s wife stated that Natasha was defaming her husband and “creating content for personal gains”.

In an interview with Arise TV on Friday, February 28, 2025, Natasha accused Akpabio of making sexual advances towards her.

The Senator from Kogi Central recounted how the Senate President made sexual advances during her visit to his home in Akwa Ibom.

She claimed that Akpabio blocked her motions from being heard on the floor of the Senate because she rejected his advances.

Speaking to the media in Abuja on Friday, Unoma dismissed Natasha’s claims and described her husband as a disciplined and jovial person who is often misunderstood.
