Nasir El-Rufai to hold first explosive interview post 2023 presidential elections

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has confirmed his first media interview since the 2023 presidential elections.

He announced this in a social media post, revealing that he had agreed to appear on the Arise TV Prime Time Live program.

According to him, the interview is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Monday, February 24.

El-Rufai has been involved in several social media clashes with presidential appointees and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Once a key ally of President Bola Tinubu, he was overlooked for a ministerial position in the current administration—a decision many believe is the reason behind his criticism of the party.

"This is to inform everyone on my timeline that I have accepted an invitation to be a guest on ARISE TV Prime Time live programme scheduled for 8 pm.
My media team has observed that this will be the first interview I am granting to any media organization since I left public office on 29th May 2023. Please tune in if interested. - @elrufai," he wrote.
