The moment Arise Television host Ogy Okpe was confused about what gender to attribute crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky has emerged on social media.

The video, which has made the rounds on social media, emerged when the news anchor was analyzing the controversy surrounding Bobrisky and the leaked audio.

During the "What's Trending" segment of the Morning Show on Thursday, September 26, Ogy, while reading the defamatory letter singer Falz addressed to social media influencer Martins Otse, a.k.a. VeryDarkMan, called Bobrisky Mr. Okuneye before immediately correcting herself to Mrs. Okuneye.

That moment sparked some laughter in the studio.

While the controversy surrounding the audio continues to generate mixed reactions on social and traditional media, the federal government has suspended the officers in charge of the Maximum and Minimum Custodial Centres in Kirikiri, Lagos State.

Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board, CDCFIB, Ja’afaru Ahmed, disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja.

This comes after Minister of Interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo initiated a probe of the allegations on Wednesday.

Ahmed stated in the release that the suspension of the officers is to allow for further investigation into the various allegations, assuring that the outcome would be made public when concluded.

He said, "Following the viral video trending on social media on alleged infractions by officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service relating to Mr. Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board has suspended forthwith the following senior officers of the service.
