Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has played down reports of a rift with Vinícius Júnior.

This comes amid reports that the duo are struggling to play together in the Real Madrid setup.

Brazilian international Vinícius Júnior has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabéu following the arrival of Mbappé, who has now become a mainstay in Los Blancos' attack.

Vinícius Júnior has drawn interest from the Saudi Pro League, but Mbappé has stated that he came to Madrid to play with the Brazilian.

“The relationship [with Vini] is good,” Mbappé told La Sexta.

“It’s normal that people want to talk about us, because we’re two famous players who can make a difference, but I came to Real Madrid with the idea of playing with Vini.

“I can’t imagine Madrid without Vini; I always had the idea of playing with him. We play well together.”
