Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, has extended his congratulations to Ghana’s President-elect John Dramani Mahama on his recent victory in the general elections.

The former Anambra Governor stated that Mahama's victory serves as an example of the democratic values and political maturity that our beloved continent needs.

He highlighted Ghana’s respect for democratic processes and peaceful transitions.

Obi went on to wish Mahama’s administration well and prayed that his presidency be marked with transformative achievements.
