Liverpool to launch £50.7m bid for Atalanta's Lookman

Premier League giants Liverpool are ready to step up their chase for Nigerian international Ademola Lookman.

According to reports, the Reds are preparing a deal worth £50.7 million for the 26-year-old Super Eagles star.

After struggling during loan spells at Leipzig, Everton, and Leicester City, Lookman has relaunched his career under Gian Piero Gasperini at Atalanta.

His stellar performance in the Europa League final has attracted interest from top Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester United.

Lookman made history by scoring a stunning hat-trick against Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, becoming the first player to achieve this feat.

He impressed last season, scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists across all competitions for Atalanta.
