Nigerian international Chidera Ejuke sustained an injury in Sevilla's heavy defeat away at Barcelona in La Liga.
The 26-year-old suffered a hamstring injury in the 43rd minute of the game and was replaced by Albert Sambi Lokonga at halftime.
“Ejuke is injured, he has felt a twinge in his hamstring and we will see how long it lasts,” Sevilla boss Garcia Pimienta confirmed to the club’s official website.
The Super Eagles star was captured in a video limping off to the team bus after the game.
Sevilla were thumped 5-1 by the La Liga leaders at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys courtesy of a brace from Robert Lewandowski and Pablo Torre.
Spanish midfielder Pedri added another goal as Hansi Flick's side sealed a convincing victory against the Rojiblancos.
