The Lagos State Government has advised residents to take responsibility by engaging in social distancing.
This strict warning is coming on the back of the growing case of coronavirus in the commercial hub which now stands at a total of 32 confirmed cases.
Giving the update in a statement, it said:
"As at 7.10 pm on 25th March 2020, one new #COVID19 case was confirmed and by 11.36 pm of the same day, 2 new cases were confirmed in Lagos. Lagos now has a total of 32 confirmed cases."
Urging citizens to be responsible, it encouraged them to take responsibility individually and collectively so it can break the chain of COVID-19 in its communities.
