The presidential candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu could not secure the highest number of votes in Surulere.

Surulere happens to be APC's Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, stronghold.

Labour Party's Peter Obi won 89 votes, the highest among all the candidates.
