Illegal occupants selling wares within Jankara market have been given two weeks to vacate the premises of the market or get evicted by the government, Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Idris Salako has said.
The Commissioner made this announcement during a working visit to Jankara market, Lagos Island to examine activities within the popular market.

Explaining the motive behind the clearing of the market, Salako said it was in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S. agenda of the present administration in the State.
He promised to provide a clean and healthy environment for the traders and their customers after clearing the market.
