Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has questioned why the All Progressives Congress, APC, didn't select Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as its presidential candidate if they wanted to see Nigeria work.

He said this while having a conversation with Pastor Tobi Adegboyega when he visited the founder of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu in London to celebrate his birthday.

“I’m desperate to see Nigeria work, I don’t hide it any day any time. I even confronted APC, if you want the country to work, why didn’t you bring Osinbajo?” Peter Obi said.

According to him, he is determined to see Nigeria work hence his decision to petition the Tribunal to contest the outcome of the 2023 presidential election which produced Bola Tinubu of the APC, winner and president-elect.
