The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has debunked reports that it appointed a partisan person as head of ICT.

In a statement released, INEC stated Femi Odubiyi, who claims to be in charge of its ICT is false and does not exist within the department.

According to the commission, the claim was made by Lagos politician, Chief Olabode George.

INEC revealed that its ICT staff are career officers who have never held any political position in any state in the federation.
