Ahead of the 2023 presidential elections that occur on February 25, there were many prophecies about the victory of the candidates.

Most of the prophecies were in favour of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour, Atiku Abubakar on his part had no prediction in his favour.

President-elect Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress also had some prominent pastors prophesying him victory.

Below are a list of pastors whose prophecies came to pass.

Bishop Feyi Daniels

A video of Bishop Feyi Daniels went viral after he prophesied what the election results would likely turn out to be.

In his prophesy, he predicted victory for Bola Tinubu, and said he saw Peter Obi crying after poll.

He stated that Peter Obi would also go to court. Atiku on the other hand would not win the election.

Since the just concluded election, some of his prophecies have come to pass as Bola Tinubu was declared winner, Peter Obi cried on national television during a press conference after suffering defeat.

The Labour Party flagbearer is also heading to court to contest the election results as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission on March 1.

Pastor Paul Adefarasin

Senior pastor of the House of Rock prophecised the winner of the election during a church service.

Speaking in parables he said; "Saul will come before David”. He however urged his followers to pray for a peaceful transition.

Interpreting his message, some Nigerians saw Tinubu as Saul, while Obi as David.

Many criticised Paul Adefarasin for allegedly supporting Bola Tinubu.

Prophet Joshua Iginla

The Abuja-based General Overseer of the Royal Champions Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla, also prophesied that the 2023 election would bring about misery in the country.

According to him only God can prevent Tinubu from becoming the president.

He noted that there will be challenges, but the most criticised candidate will be declared the winner of the poll.

Reverend David Oyediran

In 2022, Rev David Oyediran, the General Superintendent of Glorious Vision World Outreach Ministries Lagos, shared his prophesy about Tinubu's presidential ambition.

He said Bola Tinubu is the best person to provide Nigeria with good leadership.

In his words; “God said that among the few people that can provide credible leadership and restore hope to the people of Nigeria is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu."

Prophet Bisi Olujobi

On Tuesday, February 21, the general overseer of the Wisdom Church of Christ International in Ketu, Lagos, predicted the victory of Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.

The cleric shared his prophesy in the Yoruba language.
