Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has blasted President Bola Tinubu following his arrest by the Nigeria Police Force.

Omoyele Sowore appeared before court on Thursday, January 30, in response to cyberbullying charges filed against him by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

While waiting for the judge, Omoyele, who lamented the injustice being dealt to him, stated that he does not blame the police for his predicament.

He mentioned that even Tinubu, who is the president of Nigeria is a thief and a forger. He questioned Tinubu’s age and educational background and the whereabouts of his classmates.

“This country is finished. But how can you blame the police when Tinubu himself, who is a president, is a thief, a forger. Nobody knows his age. Nobody knows where he went to school. Nobody knows his classmates,” he said.

Sowore also recalled an incident during his 2019 trial for treason when the judge was caught reading a WhatsApp message about his bail conditions.

“In this court, I am saying it without hesitation, when I was charged for treason, the judge was caught reading a WhatsApp message about my bail condition in 2019,” he said.
