Crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has issued a stern warning to Nigerians to refrain from constantly dragging him on social media.

Bobrisky has been in the news following his release from prison in August. Shortly after, activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, released an audio recording of a man said to be Bobrisky claiming to have paid the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him.

The audio also revealed Bobrisky allegedly spoke to rapper Falz, who told him he would reach out to his father, SAN Femi Falana, to help him secure a presidential pardon.

However, the issue blew up as the Falanas have sent a letter through their lawyers to Bobrisky demanding an apology within 12-hours on Monday, October 14, 2024.

In response to the letter, Bobrisky denied paying Femi Falana and Falz any money to seek pardon for him. He insists that the person who released the audio should be held responsible.

He also shared a video of himself expressing his displeasure at the continuous action by the media. He lamented and urged Nigerians to leave him alone, saying he is not the only celebrity in the country.

Bobrisky said, “Please, I won’t take this, I am tired. Am I the only celebrity in Nigeria? Today Bobrisky, tomorrow Bobrisky, next year Bobrisky, next tomorrow Bobrisky. Everybody Bobrisky. What have I done to you people? Tufiakwa!

Are you people not tired of Bobrisky? Today Bobrisky news, Bobrisky tomorrow, Bobrisky next tomorrow, what happened? Please carry your negativity off my page. We have so many celebrities in Nigeria; talk about them. Leave Bobrisky for one month. I beg you bloggers Every time Bobrisky, do you want to give me BP?”
