On Sunday, October 9, thousands of Nigerians stormed the streets to campaign for the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2023 general election.

The Five Million-Man Walk was organised by the chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages management committee, Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo.

The march started with a mammoth crowd at the Teslim Balogun Stadium and ended at Oshodi.

Security operatives were also present as serious traffic gridlocks disrupted Funsho Williams avenue, Yaba-Ikorodu road and other neighbouring communities of Surulere.

Two Fuji musicians, Sulaimon Adio, popularly known as Atawewe and Sulaimon Adekunle Alao commonly referred to as Malaika joined to show their solidarity for Tinubu.

Prior to this veteran actress, Joke Silva was also spotted at the rally held by the market women in Lagos on October 3.

Having returned from his UK trip, Bola Tinubu has since commenced meetings with party members and campaign ahead of the election in 2023.
