After the heavy downpour in Lagos, some parts of the states have been left flooded, causing congestion.

The rain which lasted for hours, left many residents stranded as many struggled to make their way to their destination.

In a video making rounds, after the heavy downpour, the flood engulfed the roads at Odo Iyalaro bridge, Ojota, Lagos.

Some residents were made to walk through the floods, vehicles had a hard time passing through the flooded roads.

Reacting to the situation, some Nigerians took to social media to slam the Lagos state government.
