Prophet Bisi Olujobi, the General Overseer of Wisdom Church of Christ International in Lagos, has urged President Bola Tinubu to address the hardship in Nigeria.
Olujobi recently led the League of Concerned Prophets in protesting against the government's poor policies.
In a statement released on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, the clergy emphasized that poverty could lead citizens to express their anger publicly.
He predicted that government officials could be stoned before December 2024 due to the prevailing hardship.
“Many governors, lawmakers and other government officials will be stoned before December due to the ongoing suffering across the nation.
“I foresee a mother of all revolution that will unseat this government and a number of governors if the right things are not done immediately.
“Nigerians are not asking for too much; their patience should not be misconstrued as foolishness. The fury coming will be like a tsunami with consequences.
“The President should look inward and do what is necessary now while there is still time. Anyone or group telling him not to worry is being deceptive,” he warned.
Olujobi warned the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Yemi Cardoso, to be cautious in his decisions to avoid facing trouble like his predecessor, Godwin Emefiele.
He also urged parents and guardians to pray earnestly for their children and wards in the entertainment industry.
“Many are being recruited into strange occult practices. Almost all Nigerian entertainers have fallen for this bait and the consequence will be disastrous,” he remarked.
Regarding the upcoming election in Ghana, the prophet appealed to political parties, politicians, and Ghanaians to refrain from violence.
“The Nana Akufo-Addo-led government should avoid any occurrence that will destabilize the country; such actions will have serious consequences,” the statement concluded.
