A video is circulating showing Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke proudly displaying his multiple talents.
Adeleke, popularly known as the “dancing governor,” is recognised for his passion for music.
Coming from a family of entertainers, the Osun Governor has recently showcased his musical abilities.
In a recent video, Adeleke is seen playing the talking drum, a local instrument known as ‘gángan’ in Yoruba. for Professor Attahiru Jega, the former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
This happened when the Presidential Livestock Committee paid a visit to Governor Adeleke's office.
In a post shared on his official social media page, Adeleke wrote, "Today, I received the Presidential Livestock Committee of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, led by Professor Attahiru Jega, on a courtesy visit.
In my address to the committee, I commended the federal government’s ongoing reforms in the livestock sector, aimed at achieving food sufficiency for the Nigerian people.
I emphasized our administration’s policy of fostering deliberate partnerships with the Federal Government through various ministries and agencies. I assured the delegation that Osun State, through the Ministry of Agriculture, is committed to establishing the necessary legal and policy framework to domesticate this commendable initiative.
Furthermore, I proposed the establishment of a federally owned Livestock Research, Development, and Innovation Institute in Osun State. I also requested infrastructural support for industrialized livestock production that spans the entire value chain. This will significantly enhance our ongoing collaboration with French investors in livestock development, milk production, and other areas of the livestock value chain, an outcome of my visit to France last year."
