Treasure Ayuba, the last victim of the Bethel High School pupil kidnapped in Kaduna has been released.

Recall that 122 students were kidnapped after gunmen invaded the school in Damishi, Kaduna on July 5.

Ayuba becomes the last victim as the others have been released.

The news of Ayuba’s release was confirmed by the Nigeria Baptist Convention (NBC) on Thursday, November 2.

The NBC President, Rev Israel Akanji, confirmed his release in a statement.

He said, “Glory be to God! Glory be to God!! Glory be to God!!! Treasure Ayuba, the last boy who was still with the bandits who kidnapped the 121 students of Bethel Baptist High School, Kaduna, on July 5, 2021, has just returned home today, November 2, 2023.

“Thanks be to our unfailing God. Thank you also very much for your prayers and numerous support.”
