The declaration of the incumbent Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the victor of the state's gubernatorial elections has drawn criticism from the Lagos State Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
Recall INEC pronounced Sanwo-Olu the winner of the race after he defeated his closest rival Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
As a result, Rhodes-Vivour has criticized the development stating that according to results from his party agents, he won the election hence there was foul play.
Rhodes-Vivour added that he would not congratulate Sanwo-Olu as being the victor of the race because he knows he won the election and not Sanwo-Olu.
Social media users who labeled the Labour Party candidate as a "sportsman who doesn't respect his fans and the law" have now expressed their displeasure with him.
Others urged him to exercise patience, congratulate Sanwo-Olu and if he has isues with INEC's declaration, use the right channel and process to address the issue.
