The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has called on her fellow citizens to foster a deep love for their nation and to have confidence in their collective capabilities.
Her remarks came during a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Hidayet Bayraktar, at the State House in Abuja.
“We have not explored in our country. We have so much that God has blessed us with.
“I know Turkey wants to encourage Nigeria and the whole of Africa and we are grateful.
“We are looking forward to when Nigeria would take her place in the comity of nations, and that is very soon.”
Ambassador Bayraktar expressed Turkey's eagerness to strengthen ties with Nigeria, particularly in areas such as security, energy, construction, and cultural promotion through entertainment and health initiatives.
“We are hoping that a Turkish Hospital would be established here and that would reduce medical tourism.
“People should get to know Nigeria and its culture through the film industry.”
