Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, should be "sent to his maker' instead of accepting a surrender from him.
This comes after the Defence Headquarters, DHQ, stated that an intensified effort by the Nigerian military has weakened the Boko Haram insurgents.
This was disclosed at a press briefing in Abuja by the Directorate of Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche.
“If you talk about body language, the body language is there. If he makes any move in that regard, you will know, but from the onslaught from troops, they can’t hide anymore,” he said.
However, Femi Fani-Kayode who described Shekau and his terror group as "blood-sucking and flesh-eating demons", stated that they should not be taken prisoner.
He wrote: "I am not interested in Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau's surrender. I am interested in them sending him to his maker and bringing his head to us on a plate. He deserves no less.
"You do not take blood-sucking and flesh-eating demons prisoner: you bind them and despatch them to hell".
