In a recent cabinet reshuffle by President Bola Tinubu, five ministers were sacked and some were appointed to new positions.
Those who were removed from their ministerial roles include Uju-Ken Ohanenye, the former Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, the former Minister of Tourism; Tahir Mamman, the Minister of Education; Abdullahi Gwarzo, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development; and Jamila Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
The new nominees for ministerial positions are Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Dingyadi, Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu, Jumoke Oduwole, Idi Maiha, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, and Suwaiba Ahmad.
The announcement of the new appointees, pending Senate approval, has generated reactions among Nigerians. Many have taken to social media to mock Femi Fani Kayode and Reno Omokri for not being included in the list of new appointees.
Omokri, a Peoples Democratic Party chieftain and former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, switched his support to President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 election.
He has been known to defend the president and criticise Tinubu’s opponents. Femi Fani-Kayode, a former member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who later joined the PDP, cited his reason for leaving the party as prioritizing nation-building over party politics.
In 2019, he vowed to never rejoin the APC, calling it a party of darkness. However, in 2021, FFK returned to the APC, citing guidance from the spirit of God.
Despite their support for President Tinubu, both politicians have not received any positions in his administration.

Why is this news. Deny what? If you are a president. If that of a banana Republic will you appoint those 2 in any position. Those two are not even fit to be messenger especially the @reno
