Nigerian movie producer, Editi Effiong, has lashed out at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFFC, by saying that they are corrupt.
Effiong who produced the movie "Up North", took to Twitter to blast EFCC on Friday.
He also alleged that the EFCC is a thief, claiming that the eagle on their logo is a stolen image.
He said, "Ogbeni please park. Even the eagle in your logo is corrupt, stolen from the internet. If you’re a Nigerian agency, at least use a Nigerian eagle, not an American one."
This is coming after the anti-corruption body slammed Transparency International for poorly rating Nigeria's commitment to fight corruption.
Nigeria was ranked 148 out of 180 countries in the 2019 Corruption Perception Index, CPI recently released by Transparency International.
