Former Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh has hailed Gareth Southgate following England's triumph over the Netherlands in the semi-finals of the ongoing European Championship on Wednesday, July 10.
The Three Lions came from behind to snatch a 2-1 victory against Ronald Koeman's side, courtesy of a late strike from Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins.
Xavi Simons had given the Netherlands an early lead in the 7th minute with a wonderful strike, before England captain Harry Kane equalized from the spot.
Watkins, who was subbed on in the 81st minute replacing Kane, grabbed the winner in the dying embers of the game, scoring from a tight angle to send the Three Lions to yet another Euros final.
Reacting after the game on social media, the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder hailed Southgate for the victory while warning of the threat posed by Spain ahead of the finale.
"Personally, I've known Gareth Southgate for over 13 years, a very decent human being with clear football ideas," Oliseh wrote, while responding to a critic of the England boss. "Bravo, Ken, but... Spain is a different kettle of fish!" he added.
The Three Lions will lock horns with La Roja in the finals on Sunday, July 14, at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
Personally known Gareth Southgate for over 13yrs, a very decent human being with clear football ideas.
