Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has postponed the resumption date for all primary and secondary schools.

He made this announcement on Friday, January 15, 2021, in a press briefing.

According to the Governor, the state is yet to embark on a proper assessment of health facilities in the various schools in the state.

He noted that this directive is to ensure all schools comply strictly with the COVID-19 protocols.

Recently Nigeria coronavirus confirmed cases stand at 105,478 with active cases at 20,243, discharge cases are at 83,830 and death cases amount to a total of 1,405.
