Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu's message for Lagosians this afternoon is premised on the power of sacrifice.
The Governor who took to his Twitter page to address residents and urged them to spend easter, observing the sacrifice of staying at home and social distancing to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
Urging residents to avoid fake news, he reminded them that the lockdown has not been lifted.
"Think longterm. Stay home and stay safe," he tweeted.
"We are thankful for technology, I will be worshipping virtually with my family on Easter Sunday. Kindly say a prayer for all our health workers," he added.
The Federal Government has announced a public holiday, do spend time with your loved ones AT HOME.
