The Premier League is beginning to wind down and this weekend we could see Liverpool confirmed as champions.
If Arsenal loses at Ipswich and the Reds beat Leicester City at Anfield, then the title race is officially over.
However, it might not go as we all expected in these fixtures and other crucial games that will be played this weekend.
So which ones should we look out for?
1. Everton vs Man City: During his press conference on Friday, Pep Guardiola was forced to answer questions about playing in the Europa League next season. City are one of four teams that are scrambling to finish in the top five spots this campaign. Everton are all but safe but could still play party poopers as they play their final games at Goodison Park.
2. Ipswich Town vs Arsenal: This could be the season where Arsenal confirm they will be finishing in the runners-up spot for the third season in a row. Mikel Arteta has rested key players in recent league fixtures, putting all his eggs in the Champions League basket. Ipswich are still fighting to escape relegation and three points at home could be a huge boost.
3. Man Utd vs Wolves: On Thursday, Manchester United pulled off another remarkable comeback to eliminate Lyon and qualify for the Europa League semi-final. Ruben Amorim’s men needed 125minutes to achieve this and no doubt, fatigue could play its part when they host in-form Wolves at Old Trafford. Don’t bet against Viktor Pereira’s men completing the double against the Red Devils.
4. Fulham vs Chelsea: Enzo Maresca’s men have endured a miserable few weeks. Chelsea go into this West London Derby on the back of a 2-1 home defeat to Legia in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday. They are also sixth on the table and unsure of finishing in Champions League players. Fulham, on the other hand, are in good form and ready to boost their European chances.
