Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Aliko Dangote, has said that he has tested negative for the delay coronavirus.
The business tycoon was among the guests the wedding of the son of Muhammad Adamu, inspector general of police, including Nigeria's Chief of Staff -Abba Kyari, who later tested positive for the deadly virus.
Dangote took to Twitter to release a statement on Sunday following his test by saying:
"The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly disrupted modern society, affecting our collective health and well-being.
"As a global citizen and business leader, I took the COVID-19 test and the result came back NEGATIVE.

As of March 29, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control - NCDC, has confirmed at least 97 cases of the deadly coronavirus.
