The Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government, Wale Adedayo, has been released by the Department of State Services (DSS).

He was according to a source released after his lawyer successfully completed his bail bond on Monday.

Wale Adedayo was detained after he claimed that Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, had refused to give local councils in the state, federal funding that was owed to them over the previous two years.

Also, the councilors in the council on Thursday handed down a three month suspension on him.
