A Federal High Court in Abuja has barred the suspended lawmaker representing Kogi Central, Senator Matasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, from granting press interviews about her sexual harassment allegation against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

This followed a suit filed by Natasha against Akpabio, whom she claimed said "her waste would make good movements.".

Akpabio's lawyer, Kehinde Ogunwumiju, urged the court to bar all parties from speaking to the press concerning the allegation because the case is still in court.

Justice Binta Nyako granted his request by issuing an order on Friday, following his complaint that the plaintiff was moving from one television house to another, granting press interviews on issues relating to her case currently pending before the court.

Ruling, Justice Nyako said there shall be no press interviews by all parties and their lawyers regarding the subject matter of the case.

Justice Nyako also barred parties and their lawyers from engaging in streaming of proceedings in the case on social media.
