A Nigerian man named Joseph Obasi, who identifies as the brother of Afrobeat singer Davido's newlywed Chioma Adeleke, has captured the attention of social media users with his attire at the wedding.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Joseph was dressed in Igbo chieftaincy attire and proudly announced his arrival as the brother of the bride, signalling the start of the party.

He wrote: "The brother of the bride is here!!! Now let the party begin. Igbo Kwenu!"

His caption sparked mixed reactions from social media users, with actress Destiny Etiko praising his handsome appearance.

Many users questioned if Chioma Adeleke was aware she had a brother, while others jokingly commented that they would have mistaken Joseph Obasi for the groom due to his striking appearance.

It is important to note that Chioma Adeleke has only two sisters, who were also present at the wedding.
