Premier League side Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Guinean international Serhou Guirassy as an alternative to long-term target Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge since last summer, but a potential transfer to the Premier League fell through on deadline day.

The 26-year-old subsequently joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli and has been in phenomenal form since his move.

With the summer transfer window approaching, the Blues are now eyeing Borussia Dortmund striker Guirassy as a backup option to Osimhen.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Chelsea are preparing a $75 million offer to sign the current UEFA Champions League top scorer in a bid to resolve their ongoing goalscoring issues.

Guirassy, 29, has been in sensational form for Dortmund this season, scoring 28 goals and providing five assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for the Bundesliga giants.
