Nigeria on Saturday night recorded a total of 653 new cases of COVID-19 across 28 states in the country, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control has said.
This takes the total number of confirmed infections in the country to a total of 36,107 cases.
In a statement released on the commission's official Twitter account, @ncdcgov, Lagos, the epicenter of the virus in Nigeria, recorded the hightest case with a total of 115.
Kwara and Enugu States recorded 85 and 80 cases respectively, according to the NCDC.
