Renowned businessman and founder of Coscharis Group, Cosmas Maduka, has provided young entrepreneurs with a blueprint for achieving success amid Nigeria’s challenging economic climate.

Speaking in an interview on the Mic On Podcast with Okinbaloye via YouTube on Saturday, February 22, Maduka emphasized that starting a business is not an event but a process that requires patience.

He highlighted the importance of having a clear goal in business, stressing that wealth is not made overnight.

Addressing the growing trend of people believing that lottery wins or sports betting can bring instant riches, he said:

"One block at a time. But young people believe that you can make money overnight. I never believed you could make money overnight. I never believed you could be successful through Bet9ja. I never believed you could be successful by winning the lottery. If you want to do business and be sustainable, you must be willing to build gradually."

"Be intentional, but also be practical. Find something to do, start earning, and save money. With a clear goal in mind, if you stay consistent, you will eventually break through. This is true—Rome was not built in a day.

"Success is not transactional; it’s a long-term process. You need to build for it, and over time, you will create an institution."
