Bundesliga title holders Bayer Leverkusen are set to offer Nigerian international Victor Boniface a new contract amid interest from Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea.

The 23-year-old has been phenomenal since joining Die Werkself in the summer of 2023 from Royal Union SG.

TBR Football reports that Boniface's impressive performance has attracted interest from the Premier League, with Manchester United and Chelsea listed among the frontrunners.

The Super Eagles striker has netted eight goals in 15 appearances for Xabi Alonso's side this season.

According to Caught Offside, Leverkusen is willing to extend Boniface's contract from 2028 to 2029 to ward off interest from the Premier League.

The report also indicates that the new offer will make the Nigerian one of the club's highest-paid players.
