Another set of innocent Nigerians have lost their lives as bandits raided their villages in Zamfara state.

The gunmen were reported to have invaded the villages on motorcycles firing at them indiscriminately.

Meanwhile, residents claimed that the criminals who operated for many hours also stole their cattle.

At least 40 people have been killed by bandits in attacks on five communities in Faru district of Maradun local government area of Zamfara state.

According to residents, the gunmen arrived at the communities on motorcycles firing at the, Channels TV reports.
