MyNigeria has now confirmed that the military men were Air Force personnel.

Eyewitnesses said they stormed the Ikeja Electric headquarters to demand an immediate reconnection to power source. This was despite allegations of unpaid bills and past electricity theft.

A source stated that things escalated when their request was denied by staff of the company whom they descended on while knocking down doors.

Their personnel then searched for the CEO, Mrs Folake Soetan, whom they assaulted and forced into the trunk of a vehicle after finding her.
