Hausa Christians Foundation (HACFO) have announced the release of an Anglican Priest and his 10-year-old son who were kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Kaduna.

The duo who were kidnapped in the early hours of Saturday, August 22, 2020 while serving at the Priest's station in Kakura II Kujama Missionary Archdeaconry.

Their release was met with excitement by townsmen who described the incident as surprising.

Details of their release is unclear. We cannot also confirm if some ransom payment was made.
