The Senator representing Borno North Central Senatorial District, Ali Ndume, has accused Channels Television host Seun Okinbaloye of silencing his guests whenever they appear on his political show.

Ndume, the former Senate Chief Whip, made the accusation when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television's Politics Today program on Thursday, November 28.

According to him, Seun has repeatedly tried to push his own narrative onto him, but Ndume has refused to let it influence him.

"You are trying to make me have your own say but I refuse, I have said my own.
Many people do not want to come here because you gag them," he said at the end of the show.

Prior to this, he had criticized an external financial institution's offer to assist the federal government in drafting its fiscal budget.

"I became worried when IMF or the World Bank said they would help us to do our budget. When we have the Okonjo-Iweala's, when we have people who can do our budget to the best international standards at nothing. If you ask them to come and look at our budget and do it then you go and call Oyibo to come and do the budget for you."

"I feel insulted. So many people have gone the IMF line but where are they? They had to reverse and get out of it," he said.
